&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;On Christmas Day (Friday 25 December 2020), Boxing Day (Saturday 26 December 2020) and New Year’s Day (Friday 1 January 2021), financial settlement will not be available in all states. However, lodgement will remain available in Victoria and New South Wales.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;A state-by-state breakdown of lodgement and settlement availability on Christmas Day and and New Year’s Day, as well as office availabilities for land registries, is provided below.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;This year, thanks to the collaboration, feedback and leadership of our entire industry, PEXA turns 10.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I’d like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to each and every one of you, our members. Your contributions throughout this journey have made the property exchange experience what it is today and continue to shape what it will be in the future.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Together, industry has completed more than six million property transactions on PEXA, valued at $1+ trillion – assisting 20,000 families settle their homes online, weekly. Your feedback and collaboration have resulted in close to 4,000 enhancements to the PEXA Exchange platform since 2015 and the creation of additional value-add services for our industry such as PEXA Key, PEXA Plus, PEXA Projects and more.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To celebrate this momentous occasion, we looked back on some of our members’ highlights and notable moments – and what better place to start than at the beginning.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Just because an agreement says only-need-to-consult under certain circumstances, doesn't rule out community consultation especially where trying to improve Subscriber, Lender, Practitioner UX, CX, platform, security, etc across the board for ALL.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If that's the aim, just checking if that was done, with anyone or any group?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You will note that clause 22 of the &lt;A href="https://www.pexa.com.au/images/uploads/page_parts/Pdfs/Participation_Agreement_(Representative)_v12.1.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Participation Agreement&amp;nbsp;&lt;/A&gt;sets out PEXA's consultation obligations with industry bodies, including the AIC.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Daylight savings time will resume in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania from Sunday 4 October 2020.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The following changes will be effective from Tuesday 6 October 2020 until Friday 2 April 2021.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For members in NSW, two additional settlement slots will be made available: 6.00pm and 6.30pm AEDT. Settlements after 5.00pm AEDT will not roll and will need to be re-booked for these times.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In Western Australia, settlement rebooking cut-off time will be at 1.00pm AWST.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please also be mindful of the 4.00pm cut-off time in Queensland, with the jurisdiction not observing daylight savings time.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;As you’re aware, the annual CPI fee increase for PEXA’s online lodgement and financial settlement service typically comes into effect on 1 July.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;However, &lt;A href="https://www.pexa.com.au/news/pexa-pricing-update" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;as previously announced,&lt;/A&gt; in light of current circumstances, PEXA fees will not increase at the beginning of the financial year – instead, the &lt;A href="https://www.pexa.com.au/pricing" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;current pricing schedule&lt;/A&gt; will remain effective until January 2021.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;As is usual, any future price adjustment will be in line with the Model Operating Requirements which are set and governed by ARNECC and will be calculated based on the Consumer Price Index for March 2020 (ABS 6410.0).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Additionally, fees for each of the Land Registries have been updated, with any revisions taking effect from 1 July 2020.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;As previously announced, the NSW Office of the Registrar General (ORG), NSW Land and Registry Services (NSW LRS) and PEXA have worked together to facilitate a temporary solution to lodge presently out of scope paper documents through the PEXA platform during COVID-19. Phase 1 of this roll-out has been live since 11 May, enabling&amp;nbsp;PEXA Subscribers to lodge paper Real Property Act dealings with a Land Title Reference through the COVID-19 Residual Lodgement via the PEXA Platform.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Please note that Phase 2 is available in PEXA from today. &lt;/STRONG&gt;As part of this, paper documents which don’t have a Real Property Act Land Title Reference or where the Land Title is not valid for electronic lodgement in the PEXA Platform, will be able to be lodged through the PEXA Platform using a prescribed Title Reference. &lt;P&gt;The current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak presents a number of logistical challenges to industry, particularly to members regarding the in-person, physical lodgement of presently out-of-scope documents.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;With this in mind, to support the state’s network at this time, the NSW Office of the Registrar General, NSW Land Registry Services and PEXA are working together to facilitate a temporary solution to lodging paper documents through the PEXA platform. This functionality will be released in two phases, commencing 11 May 2020.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The above times for NSW and WA of 5.30pm AEST and 3.30pm AWST respectively are available for booking anytime before the cut off of each state.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;However the last automatic rollover settlement slots for those two states are 5pm AEST and 3pm AWST.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If we take an example where a workspace in WA is set for 2.30pm AWST, if this is not ready by that settlement time it will roll over to 3pm AWST. If by 3pm AWST it is still not ready, then settlement will drop off and you will not be able to rebook for this same day. Anytime before 2pm AWST if you rebook the settlement time - you will have the option to choose the final settlement time of 3.30pm AWST.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For those that have settlements in AEST - simply swap out the times accordingly but the same applies.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;PEXA undertakes two major and two minor releases annually to update functionality and provide new service offerings to our Subscribers across all active jurisdictions. Depending on the nature of the change, this requires amendments to the PEXA Service Charter or the Participation Agreement.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;PEXA regularly consults with relevant peak bodies and incorporates Subscriber feedback and suggestions wherever possible in the design and functionality of various features of the ELN. The variation process is outlined in clause 22 of the Participation Agreement, which all Subscribers agree to when joining PEXA. It's important to note also that Subscribers are free to opt in and out of the agreement, provided PEXA receives 30 days' notice.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Please note that some Subscribers have inadvertently received a notification on the afternoon of 17 February 2020 stating that they have been randomly selected to complete PEXA’s Subscriber Review Process (SRP). For those that are unaware, PEXA’s SRP is a regulatory requirement for PEXA to confirm its members are complying with ARNECC’s Model Participation Rules (MPR).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Subscribers are advised to disregard the notification received as it has been sent in error. Impacted Subscribers would have received an error message which either states “Security constraints prevent access to the requested page” or “User &amp;lt;email address&amp;gt; not found” upon clicking on “Start Questionnaire”.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This issue has now been resolved and we apologise for any confusion and inconvenience caused.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please note that those in scope for the next round of questionnaires will also be sent an email with further background information, in addition to the notification seen today.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;On Monday 10 February 2020, Landgate released updates to the electronic mortgage form. Landgate has advised us of the following in relation to this change:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;“Landgate has updated the format of the electronic mortgage form approved by the Registrar of Titles.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;The updated and approved form has some slight variations in formatting to the national mortgage form. &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;When using the form, parties should ensure any counterpart mortgage complies with the Transfer of Land Act 1893, Section 105 and Section 4(1CA) and the Transfer of Land Regulations 2004 (the Regulations). &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In relation to the post published above by the PEXA team,&amp;nbsp; it is with the deepest sadness to share that Paul Browitt passed away on Sunday evening.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Paul suffered from severe burns from the White Island volcanic eruption in New Zealand, and despite the best efforts of the hospital, could not recover.&amp;nbsp; Paul worked with us for 36 years and was a highly respected member of our staff.&amp;nbsp; For a short time Paul was a member of my Branch and I very much appreciated his sense of humour, team work and technical knowledge.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Our deepest condolences go out to his wife Marie and daughter Stephanie who remains in hospital. &lt;P&gt;We know that many of you have been directly impacted, and the task of rebuilding homes, businesses and lives is not a small one. While the scale of this crisis is difficult to comprehend, the emotional toll is even harder to quantify.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Until the issue is resolved, signing by CBA will be delayed. It’s important to note that this does not impact payments in progress and should not affect Workspaces already signed by CBA.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please note: CBA are experiencing signing issues, all other participants should be able to sign. Bankwest is unaffected.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Community,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;CBA is currently experiencing internal system issues which is resulting in delays to their Workspace signing.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Until the issue is resolved, signing by CBA will be delayed. It’s important to note that this does not impact payments in progress and should not affect Workspaces already signed by CBA.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes thanks handy feature &lt;LI-USER uid="74"&gt;&lt;/LI-USER&gt;&amp;nbsp;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;May I suggest that it be added as a feed, or at least linked to the Dashboards for easy user view/check for the status update. Even a Traffic light indicator on the side of a WS like the WS Feedback, Help tools would be extra handy.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;PEXA is aware of an issue impacting our business website, pexa.com.au.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;While this does not affect the PEXA Exchange, we are aware that many members navigate to the Exchange via our website.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Members may access the Exchange directly via workspaces.pexa.com.au and we recommend, in any event, that this page be bookmarked for ease of access.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Instructions on how to do this for Google Chrome may be found &lt;A href="https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/188842?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&amp;amp;hl=en" target="_self"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;, and for users of other browsers, we suggest searching for instructions via Google or your preferred search engine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
