I have booked in a Settlement for the 7th August 2017 and a week out, the Banks Solicitors advise it is a Bank Holiday and you cannot book a Settlement for this date even though i booked this over a month ago. Could the PEXA Settlement Calendar update every Bank Holiday or Public Holiday each year to the Calendar to prevent this from happening again? KR Garth Brown

SolutionHi @GB1
In accordance with the Service Charter point 8.2, there is no impact on PEXA transactions on the August 7 Bank Holiday in NSW (except for reduced settlement hours – closing 4.30pm AEST), which is why you were able to book a settlement for that day. However, if a member chooses to close and not operate on the bank holiday, unfortunately that is out of our control.
Thanks
Em

Thank you Emily for the clear explanation and great to see PEXA have this under control!
