REMINDER. A fully signed copy of the CA Form is now included within ZipID PDF Reports.
ARNECC's updated Guidance Note released on 27 May 2017 reinforces the role and requirements for Client Authorisations (CA Forms).
Use of CA Forms in conjunction with VOI takes on increasing importance as the use of PEXA grows and alignment of state-based rules for paper and electronic dealings continues.
When your client provides a CA Form to our representative at the VOI appointment, we'll witness its signing and return the fully signed CA Form to you as part of the ZipID VOI Report (PDF format). This is all included as part of our VOI fee.
Here are some tips to ensure CA Form compliance:

Hi @Chris_ZipID.
Would also like to have some clarity on;
Does a Standing Authority (with an expiry date), Client Authorisation Form need to specify each and every Property address?

Hi @DMc
Great question! When your Client Authorisation has been set up as a Standard Authority you do not need to complete any property address details - you can leave this blank. You will need to select the type(s) of conveyancing transaction(s) that you are seeking authorisation,
Another tip - where appropriate, set your expiry date for at least two years so it's valid for the life of your VOI. That way you won't need to repeat one without the other.
I hope that answers your question?
Thanks,
Chris from ZipID

Thanks, @Chris_ZipID.
Would you happen to have/know of any direction or confirmation from ARNECC on this?

Hi @DMc
The easiest reference from ARNECC is located on the Client Authorisation itself. Listed under the Specific Authority it asks you to "set out the conveyancing transaction details below" and under Standing Authority it asks you to "tick relevant conveyancing transactions below".
If your current copy doesn't have that, you can find the revised here: https://www.arnecc.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0007/698434/Client_Authorisation_Form_Version_4.pdf

That link seems to be broken ATM. However, found this merely for others to reference...
