Scenario -
* One paper mortgage taken over 2 Titles (Property A & Property B)- same registered proprietor
* Want to register the mortgage on PEXA but do it as a separate registration. Register the mortgage over Property A and register the mortgage again over Property B.
* Why? because the properties may be sold to different people with different mortgagees - some mortgagees consider that it is a privacy issue if they receive details of the property they are not concerned with as part of the discharge process for the property they are concerned with.
Has anyone come across this or know whether it is possible? (ie one paper mortgage over 2 titles but registered in PEXA as 2 digital mortgages, each over one of the titles). I have to admit, I'm struggling to see how the certification that they are the same mortgage could be given, but I'm hoping someone in the community has had this situation.
