I am acting for a purchaser in NSW. Settlement is scheduled for 30/9/19. A caveat was registered on the title on 27/9/19.
We will require the Caveat to be withdrawn prior to settlement and will not want to settle until such time as the Caveat is removed.
Is there anything I need to do in PEXA to ensure settlement does not go through or will lodgment of the Caveat automatically prevent settlement?
