Update following settlement:
I uploaded the caveators consent into the file section in the workspace.My settlement was effected with no issues at all. Dealing were registered the following day after settlement. I took the original caveators consent to land registry Vic who took consent into the office and confirmed my letter of consent was correct and accepted for registration of documents. All in all, my documents wre registered the next day and no delay occurred. The process was very seamless. I think that as I uploaded the document into files in pexa - it may assisted in expedition of my registrations ..

I will pass your feedback to LUV re: upload of supporting evidence to the PEXA Doc Hub.
The capability to upload attachments, be they embedded within, and digitally signed alongside a Document (such as bespoke terms and conditions on a Mortgage) or supporting evidence (such as caveators Consent or Probate for a transmission application) will be available from R7.
While the capability is available in PEXA, the Land Registries need to build the capability to accept attachments at their end. For R7 both NSW and SA have built the capability to accept bespoke Mortgage terms and conditions via PEXA Doc Hub. As we progress to R8 and beyond you will see more uptake by the Land registries of PEXA Doc Hub capability.

good afternoon all,
we have a similar scenario to this Caveat question however the state is NSW.
We have received a copy of a caveator's consent and attached in the doc hub. Can we perform the same process for NSW ie select the option in the lodgement instructions and deliver the consent to NSW LPI.

Unfortunately, at present until all LR's enable PEXA Doc Hub, the processes for handling of Caveators Consent (or other supporting evidence) varies by jurisdiction.
It is currently only in VIC where 'Dealing Requirements' may be entered which advise the Registrar that supporting docs, submitted via paper, will accompany the lodgement. This capability is unique to VIC and has been in PEXA since release 1.
In NSW, if a dealing requiring Caveators Consent is lodged without Caveators Consent, the dealing will be requisitioned. All requisitioned lodgements attract a requisition fee in NSW. NSW currently have no process for allowing electronic dealings to attach supporting evidence. Today such dealings must be completed in paper.
For NSW, PEXA R9 (Nov 2018) will enable attachments specific to a Transfer, Caveat, Mortgage and CoRD Consent. But, unfortunately till then, any dealing that requires supporting evidence must be completed in paper.

We have one at the moment where consent is required.
Strange that currently we have to send in something to LUV after the PEXA transaction only to have to look back onto PEXA that the dealing is registered..

Yes - agree it is strange.
The reason is that the requirement was in VIC prior to PEXA Doc Hub. However, LUV are moving to 'Tell me, don't show me' for as many dealings as possible. As a result, they are reticent to invest in dealing with attachments via the new (Nov 2017 R7.0) PEXA Doc Hub. This is quite understandable.
For the Caveat, Land Use VIC will soon adjust Dealing Requirements so that supporting evidence is not required.
