When processing a change of name in PEXA for a Refinance matter, are we required to keep and store all the same paper evidence that is required for when we send a change of name to the LRS?

SolutionHi @CT, I believe the supporting evidence is part of the VOI and those docs have to be retained. Hope that helps

Thank you, therefore my assumption will be that as long as we have supporting document electronically stored and we have made sufficient enquiries to satisfy the legal identity of our customer we will be compliant.

Hi,
I have a correction of name required for a NSW refinance (surname spelt incorrectly). That doesn't appear to be an option in the justifications under the Participants Screen. Does that mean we need to register a paper Change of Name document?

Thanks LG, you have all the answers. Turns out this may be a registry error - can't get a copy of the original transfer (expired!?) but the registered mortgage shows different spelling to the title. I'm having the registry look into it. B)
