Greetings
l have lodged a section 32 application to change my surname from my maiden to my married name on my legal title with the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. The Department advised that as the folio had an electronic Certificate of title , my bank was required to nominate the title in electronic lodgment network PEXA to this paper instrument.
1. Can you please advise the process in nominating the title on PEXA to the paper instrument ? I will provide this information to my bank.
2. Can you please advise the process of changing the surname on my legal title on PEXA?
3. Is there a way to obtain my original physical title?
I made a request to my bank to nominate the title however they declined and the bank Officer advised they don’t change names on legal titles even though l had not made this request.
