Completing A Transfer Representing The Purchaser In NSW

Hi,

I have tried to use this tutorial on several occasions over the past week.  Each time I get to the screen for inputting the Byron Shire Council rates I encounter the same problem.  I enter the council's name which looks blurry.  When I press enter after entering the account number it shows the wrong number and shows an error message telling me to try again but it won't let me go back to correct.  I have recommenced several times and keep getting the same problem at this screen.

I can successfully complete the tutorial acting for the vendor.  Is there another interactive tutorial for purchaser that I can use or some way of moving past the block I keep striking.

Anne

Re: Completing A Transfer Representing The Purchaser In NSW

I'm getting the same issue with the NSW Purchaser demo. The step by step guide shows that the only steps left after entering council rates is to authorise any source funds and sign off on the financial settlement statement, so there isn't much left to the demo.

If you wanted to go through these steps as a purchaser, you could try completing it using the QLD Purchaser demo? The steps for the transaction seem to be the same, the only noticeable difference is that the Queensland demo doesn't go through Stamp Duty.

Re: Completing A Transfer Representing The Purchaser In NSW

Hi @annearthur and @aclarke - I just tried the NSW interactive tutorial and was able to get past the Council rates without any issues. When you get to the field to enter Byron Shire Council, you can just type anything and then press enter. The tutorial is only picking up you have entered something, not checking that it's exactly "Byron Shire Council". Perhaps try again and let me know how you go.
