I am going now through my first transaction with PEXA as a purchaser.
My conveyancer gave me a form with PEXA Deposit Reference number. This number I believe is the only identifier of my transaction and should be used by PEXA to marry up with my profile.
The form says that the purchaser's equity amount is XXX dollars but I transferred XXX + $1,500.
I was puzzled that in three days PEXA have not allocated my money to the transaction based on the fact that the amount of money differs by 1500.
I wonder why PEXA uses the amount as a secondary criterion. It is only after my conveyancer talked to PEXA, my money went to the right direction.
In my view, if I put more money, there is no problem and PEXA will simply use my Reference Number for allocation. Apparently, there is a problem. ???
Can anybody please put some light on this? Thanks
