Solution

Re: Electronic Certificates of Title

Hi @coofitz,

Where there is no incoming mortgagee in a transaction, the purchaser will receive a paper title.  The Office of the Registrar General will announce when this will change (probably sometime next year).  So a consumer will continue to receive a paper title at this stage.

cheers

Belinda

Re: Electronic Certificates of Title

Hi @coofitz,

Are you able to provide a bit more information? Are you talking about a particular transaction? Or broadly are you talking about when documents are lodged?

Re: Electronic Certificates of Title

Hi. Thanks. A particular situation. We settle Friday and no bank involved. Do we get a certificate, TJ?

Re: Electronic Certificates of Title

Can you pls confirm if this response is applicable in NSW? Where is the title deed is sent? How does Land Registry know where to send it? Can we elect to have it sent to solicitor/conveyancer or direct to purchaser? There is noting in the guidebooks about this
