Email notification

Hi - I don't have authority to sign instruments, but I can lodge them.  Is there any way that a lodger (who does not have authority to sign), can receive an email notification when a document is actually registered - without having to stay logged into PEXA waiting for the word "registered" to appear and if so, how do you add their email address in the back end?  The Partners in my firm who have full authority can't see where they can add my email - it only permits theirs to be selected.  Thanks.

Solution

Re: Email notification

Hi @NicC,

PEXA doesn't currently have an email notification for when a document is registered. We do have one for when a document is successfully lodged, but it doesn't sound like that's what you're after.

Some land registries will send their own email confirmations at time of registration. I believe they direct these to the email address provided in the Lodgement Correspondence. This can be updated by going to:

Administrator Tools -> Manage Subscriber Details -> Land Registry Correspondence Details ... and entering your email address to the following fields:

  • Contact person email address
  • General Email address

(This update can only be performed by a Subscriber Manager as it touches subscriber details.)

Let me know if this doesn't resolve your issue.

Thanks,

Marty
