Hi PEXA
Am trying to lodge a mortgage document in VIC but an error occurs saying 'The Title reference has not been nominated to this lodgement case'. Not sure why this error message is coming up.
Could you please assist.
Cheers
Simone

SolutionHi Simone,
Yes, unfortunately you need to sign and lodge the nomination in order for your mortgage to pass verification. That's because each lodgement case is verified independently. When verifying your mortgage, the Land Registry doesn't know you also plan to lodge a nomination. Its verification function doesn't have a memory.
I hope that helps.

Hi @SimoneC,
Have you lodged a Nomination document in the workspace? That's required to progress your Mortgage document.
Let me know if that fixes it.
Thanks,
Marty

Hi Marty
Yes have created the nomination document but not lodged it. The error still occurs when trying to verify the lodgement instructions for the mortgage document.
I assume I should be able to verify all documents at the same time before signing them and lodging them, or is there an order in which I should be doing this ie verify the nomination form, sign and lodge and then verify the mortgage document and then sign and lodge?
Cheers
