Executor transferring property to themselves

Hi PEXA Universe,

I have a scenario that I need help with.

"Client A" is registered as tenants in common with her partner who has recently died and left everything to Client A. We have registered the Transmission Application so that the CT is now showing Client A as both Proprietor On Title and also as the Executor of the deceased's estate. I had attempted to transfer the property using various roles in the work place settings option, but only managed to butcher the work space Smiley Sad

I spoke with Thanh at PEXA who helped me fix up the workspace (#legend), however, when I tried to verify the stamp duty, the SRO told me that PEXA does not support an individual being in multiple roles and that the transfer needed to be lodged in paper!

Does anyone know if there is a flow chart/slide show/training scenario/video available to walk me through the transfer steps, with particular reference to scenarios that would arise from:

a) deceased estates (eg: Executor transferring the estate to various beneficiaries or to themselves) and also

b)where there are portions of land being transferred (eg half share; quarter shares etc)?

Thanks in advance Pexperts!

Re: Executor transferring property to themselves

Hi @AndrewMcNab

Just came across your question, I apologise you did not receive an answer on this topic.

This link here will take you to a page where you will be able to learn about transacting in PEXA. You will be able to locate the transaction type you are trying to complete on the left hand column. There are also a variety of how-to videos on this page to assist you.

Please let me know how you go or if you need any further assistance.

Thank you.

Marian
