Hi Community,
Release 11 is just around the corner (scheduled for business go-live 11 November) and one of the highlights of this deployment is the launch of our new System Status page.
PEXA, together with our industry partners, endeavours to provide you with a seamless settlement experience. As part of this, we want members to have easy-to-access visibility of the network’s current status, availability and outages.
The page will contain incident notifications as well as a table indicating availability of for each of our active e-Conveyancing jurisdictions and digital settlement partners.
We understand you receive a high-volume of emails every day and we hope this provides you with a suitable method of keeping up to date – on your own terms. Though the System Status page will be our primary communication channel, email notifications will continue to be distributed to those users who have subscribed to receive updates.
See below FAQs regarding this functionality. If you have any further questions, please ask them below and our team will add them to the post.
The System Status page highlights the availability of the network and contains notices of any outages. Incident communications are hosted at the top of the page, above a table indicating availability of network services for each of our active e-Conveyancing jurisdictions and digital settlement partners.
The System Status page will provide updates on the availability of the PEXA Exchange and associated services, Land Registries and other network settlement services.
This link will be accessible via the footer of pexa.com.au, PEXA Exchange and in PEXA Plus from December.
Though the System Status page will be our primary communication channel, email notifications will continue to be distributed to those users who have subscribed to receive updates.
Users will also now be able to additionally access to either the System Status page or individual incidents proactively, to keep up-to-date with network availability.
Yes, you can subscribe to specific updates and jurisdictions via email. We recommend you subscribe to all outage types and your relevant settlement jurisdiction(s).
Yes, you will still receive email notifications where applicable from PEXA if you are subscribed, in specific instances.

You may have seen this come through.
Trust no-one! But Phone support says this is legit! Click at your own peril
Would suggest that users be able to confirm via their own settings within their Dashboard, rather than possible - man-in-the-middle emailed link vulnerability...

Hi @DMc,
Yes, we'd love to be able to do this, however the Status Page is software separate to the core PEXA Exchange. However, this particular technology is used by many other major organisations, including Land Registries within the e-Conveyancing network.

Maybe a flag or setting within the subscribers' own Community Settings page would be safer, than emailing M-I-M susceptible link!
Alternatively using the Community Private Message and or the PEXA push notifications system rather than direct email would be better...
Just saying.

Thanks for making the direct subscription available.
Suspicious about clicking an emailed link-then use the subscribe button on the site directly.
User can enter their own email

Hi @DMc,
We do encourage members to be cautious with email communications and if you feel that anything you’ve received is suspicious, the best thing to do is to check in with the PEXA Support Team.
That said, a bit of common sense can be exercised here too - after checking all the usual factors, the address the email has come from, the linked url, the content of the email and the action being requested - it's safe to assume that subscribing to this email list is low risk. In addition to the subscription email, there was also a preliminary email introducing the Status Page.
It's important to note that PEXA will never send members a link to a login page via e-mail, we do however send other links via email directed to Community, news articles, landing pages, events and other locations.
