WHY are we subjected to the lack of action from this mob? Day of settlement they advise no instructions received! Absolute bunkum which has been proved to them by way of copy of email from a member of their office to me! No discharge prepared, no settlement accepted, no payout figure. This sort of thing seems to happen in 90% of the files in which this firm is involved. What can be done to make them pick up their game and meet acceptable levels of service?

I totally agree with you, not impressed with their service either. There are always issues every time there is a holiday or just after a holiday.

Could not help but agree with you. My settlement is 13th May 2020 and First Legal has not accepted the Invitation in the Workspace but I am continually told that FMS has accepted. My Mortgagee is Suncorp whom I invited in to begin with and they forwarded the Invitation to First Legal and there is a First Legal entry as follows sitting in the Workspace but I of course cannot complete those details. I was asked to invite First Legal in and after telling the rep that they were already sitting in the Workspace they requested to be invited in again. I did that and still it shows as Pending and the below entry remains in the Workspace as well. I know I am old and probably much slower to comprehend these technological improvements but how difficult is it to accept the Invitation??!! It is only Monday too!!!

We act for the proprietor on title in a workspace and they are the incoming mortgagee. They have added a destination with the vendor as a responsible subscriber (we are not for this particular fee) and yet they refuse to remove it saying they didn't add it. Still denying despite copying and pasting the destination to show them.
