Hi @Marty, would it be possible to add a facility that would allow a Participant to request access or an invitation to a PEXA Workspace?
I want to be able to provide a loan broker or a bank manager with the Workspace ID of a particular matter and instruct them, "Please have the mortgagee request an invitation to the PEXA Workspace using the following Workspace ID: PEXA215570323."
My staff will be able to open a PEXA Workspace and get on with other things while waiting for the eventual mortgagee to make contact through PEXA by way of an invitation request.
All too often we find that we will be dealing with a broker, an aggregator and then eventually the mortgagee, and we have to request a Loan Account number to quote when we send an invitation. Or an attempt is made to invite a mortgagee, only to find that another party is representing them in PEXA.
Being able to have the eventual mortgagee 'knock on the door' and request entry, instead of us having to send out invitations, would make things easier for everyone.

Thanks for your feedback, Peter.
As you know, PEXA allows this for Incoming Proprietors and Proprietors on Title. We're yet to extend this to Incoming Mortgagees and Mortgagees on Title. This is definitely on our enhancement list though.
I can't give any promises around timing. We have a long list of changes we want to make to PEXA.
Thanks,
Martin

Thanks Marty, but I really would like this to be pushed up the list, just to make it easier for all concerned.
Because of cyber-security issues and our having to deal with multiple bank-related parties (often a broker, an aggregator and a bank with all working to their own time-frames and agendas) we have now adopted a protocal whereby we have ZERO communication with anyone related to a mortgagee other than through PEXA.
It's working well, with bank people being told that we will only communicate with them through PEXA, and clients being told to have their loan people use PEXA rather than insecure email.
The only shortcoming is that a mortgagee cannot commence communications with us until we can invite them into the Workspace, and for this we usually need a Loan Reference.
It would be so much easier if we could open the Workspace, and then provide the Workspace ID to the client to pass on to their bank, broker, loan manager etc, so that they can invite themselves into the Workspace.

Hi Peter,
Makes sense. I'll see what I can do on our side.
Thanks,
