Yes.
From PEXA R8 (May, 2018) a new Disbursement line item category will be available in the Financial Settlement Schedule. It will be named:
GST Withholding (or similar).
It will work in much the same manner as the current Foreign Resident Capital Gains Withholding (FRCGW) disbursement line item category value works. That is:
Upon selection of the category value:
- PEXA will auto fill the ATO BSB and Account Number fields;
- PEXA will make mandatory entry of the ATO Payment Reference number in the transaction narrative field.
But watch this space. We are working with the ATO to enhance the experience for our members by building integration to the ATO for FRCGW and GST withholding.
