We need to pay QLD transfer duty on the day of settlement because funds are coming from the incoming mortgagee. We cannot setup a Duty Disbursement Account because we do not operate a trust account. Is there another method to pay stamp duty on the day of settlement?

Without a Duty Disbursement Account, you will need to use one of the first two options when completing Stamping on PEXA - there is a helpful Community Post on how to pay using the 'Received by Self Assessor prior to ELN Settlement' option - I've linked it below for you:

Does it allow us to pay stamp duty at settlement without using a trust account or setting up a Duty Disbursement Account? For example NSW let’s you draw funds from the Pexa trust account at settlement to pay for stamp duty but not Qld.

In the Community Post I believe the member refers to entering the payment details manually in order to pay from the settlement funds.
Hopefully that helps.
