Incoming mortgagee activity

How long before settlement does an incoming mortgagee usually become active in the workspace? They have accepted the invite but haven't been active on the workspace since. Just trying to figure out whether with a week to go before settlement I need to chase them up. Thanks.

Hi @naomib,

Here at Westpac we would first become active in a purchase workspace , after accepting the invitation, when either of two things happen.

1) when we receive our correct and complete loan documents - at which time we would prepare our PEXA mortgage.

2) 5 days out from settlement date, if we are not ready to settle - we would send a Conversation to the incoming proprietor representative advising them that we are not ready. Depending on the reason, we may also advise why we are not ready.

These are general times of activity but each file may have some unique details which would necessitate activity at different times.
