Lodging a Surrender of Lease

I'm just checking that even through I have a hard copy of an LRS Real Property Surrender of Lease signed by all parties, that I can no longer lodge that paper form on PEXA and then get LRS to register it.

LRS say that the Surrender of Lease needs to be done in the PEXA format as the paper document does not form part of a Lodgement Rules Exception?

Even making this matter more difficult is that if I attempt to prepare a PEXA version of the Surrender of Lease, both the Lessor and Outgoing Lessee need to be represented.  The Lessee's Solicitor is not a member of PEXA!

Any suggestions please?

If the Surrender of Lease doe not fall within the Lodgement Rules Exception List then it must be completed electronically and both the Lessor and Lessee need to be represented in the workspace. In this case the Lessee's Solicitor can use the services of an electronic settlement agent who can act in the workspace on their behalf.
