Missing workspaces on dashboard

Hi all,

On our dashboard we can see only 5 workspaces, however it says we have 8 workspaces. We cannot find the other 3. When we search a missing workspace we can find it but does anyone know why all 8 workspaces aren't showing at all times? Do we need to amend some settings?

Hey @Karla,

There were some changes to search in Release 7.1 that came in on Monday; completed workspaces now only show when in the "Completed" dashboard.

We've had some feedback that this makes things harder so we're changing it back asap.

In the mean time you should be able to find those missing workspaces here:

Moving those Archived, Abandoned & Completed Workspaces off the Dashboard I have found to be VERY USEFUL declutter and welcome change... Perhaps the OP user needs to 'clear (any now saved) filters'

Hi Karla,

Thanks for your email regarding this issue. I think that this issue may actually be a recent defect, which has eventuated as part of our 7.1 release this weekend. This causes the issue that you are seeing on your dashboard where your tally shows as "8", however only displays 5 of these matters.

While the underlying issue is investigated, you can still always search for your files by either using the search function at the top of your screen, or by using the filters on the columns (the little dark grey triangles at the top of the column header).

We hope to be able to update you further once a code fix has been implemented to fix the problem.

Mine seems to be unaffected and displaying ALL 8 active Workspaces...

I am not sure what triggered it.

It has been doing it since Monday.

We have not done anything differently.

Merely in case of diagnostic use, I was unable to replicate the glitch in chrome version 63...

nor version 64...

Just to be clear, I did NOT experience this glitch at all. Perhaps permissions/workgroups issue...

Hating the new dashboard or recent workspaces page. I find it completely useless and just go back to the old dashboard.

I agree - it's awful.   Can't go straigtht to active after finishing with a file.   Have to go back to dashboard and then go to active each time.
