I'm assuming that there is a limit as to how many titles can go on the one Caveat (particularly in the Victorian jurisdiction, but also generally).
We are looking at lodging a Caveat over 8 titles in Victoria and my manager is asking if it can be done in one transaction. I'm wondering if we can do it on one caveat, and if not, if we can do it on multiple caveats in the one workspace.
A PEXA Workspace allows dealings to be lodged over up to 20 land titles.
Provided that the party affected by the claim is a (or one of) the Proprietors of each title, and each of the titles are of the same Estate Type, then you will be permitted to lodge a Caveat over all 20 (or in your case over all 8) of the titles in the PEXA workspace.
The PEXA Fee will be identical regardless of if the Caveat is over 2 titles or 20 titles.
Please let me @GeorgePolus know how you get on, or if you have more questions.
