We are acting for the vendor on the sale of a NSW non-CAC title where the corporation has changed its name.
If transacting in paper, we could supply the purchaser with the certificate of registration showing the change of name, which would be lodged with the transfer, and the discrepancy would not prevent registration.
If the title was electronic, we could enter the name change justification in the workspace.
Although we've produced the paper title at NSW LRS, when trying to complete the Consent in the workspace, it is not prompting the entry of the production receipt number. Could this be because of the name discrepancy?
Short of registering a paper Change of Name, is there something we can add to the production (e.g., the certificate of incorporation) to enable the production to be connected to the workspace?

Hi @mjswan if the title has been produced, and you cannot see the up to date information, you may not have completed an information resupply on the land registry screen in PEXA. Can you please confirm?

Thanks, have undertaken info resupply and can now see the production.
It's not helpful that the system does not prompt to undertake a resupply.
Will locate the last transfer where we provided evidence of the name change.
