Seeking to lodge a caveat on behalf of a partnership (100+ partners).
In paper, we would have completed the caveator box on the front page to refer to the persons listed in an annexure, and then listed the partners’ names in the annexure.
It’s not clear how to approach this under the NSW eConveyancing mandate:
1. lodge in paper, noting the exception regarding caveats requiring an annexure (http://rg-guidelines.nswlrs.com.au/e-dealings/elodgment/elodgment_requirements/exemptions_for_electr...)
2. lodge through PEXA:
a. uploading a file to accompany the caveat which would list the caveators (we cannot see a facility in PEXA to attach anything to a caveat, hence the exception referred to in 1.)
b. entering each of the 100+ partners in the workspace as a participant/caveator.
Option 2b is understandably unattractive. If paper lodgment is not available, can an annexure be uploaded to accompany the electronic caveat?
