Hi,
We recently completed a transfer on PEXA and have now received the title. I have noticed that our client's middle name was incorrectly spelt on the PEXA workspace.
Can we do the Transfer on PEXA for the NSW name change?

Unfortunately a change of name document in NSW is not currently available to lodge on PEXA. That one will have to be completed in paper at this stage.

Good news, the standalone Change of Name document in PEXA is scheduled for Release 11.1 in February next year (2020). Initially the document was scheduled to be deployed this year but was unfortunately pushed back due to competing priorities at NSW LRS.
UPDATE - The Change of Name document will be created under the new Residual Documents Strategy, which enables LRS to build this functionality using a standard set of building blocks. Our understanding is they will have this document ready for launch in the March April timeframe (2020).

Thank you for clearing this up @JonTeh . It was great that you phoned to discuss and look further into this for me. It was also good to discuss some of the smaller issues we have had and listening to all of my feedback with regards to how great we are finding PEXA.

Thanks for that so I am assuming that you would then have to incovenience the Client to complete the form and provide relevant documentation even though it was only a spelling mistake.

@JonTeh is there anyway PEXA can liase with the LRS to enable spelling mistacke to be an option in the Name Change field?
