Hi PEXA
Could we please have an pretty Alert box on the front page of the community page that lets us know when there is connectivity issues with LTO?
It's inevitably this happens (hopefully occasionally) but if there was an Alert to say, "Connectivity is reduced with the VIC LTO" or be more proactive and have it with pretty colours - Green for good for all LTOs, Amber for slow and Red for down!
It would mean that I wouldn't have to waste 45 minutes waiting for help desk and just might reduce some calls.
Thanks
Sharron

This is a great idea! We do post on Community and update the announcements box on the left hand side of the homepage when there's a land registry outage but your suggestion will make it really clear to see.
I'll have a chat to the team and see what we can come up with design-wise. Watch this space.
FYI, I just updated the name of this post, don't want anyone to get a shock thinking there's a current outage.

Interested to know more about this. I havent ever had an issue with Connectivity and if others have experienced it, i would have thought it would get captured in the monthly statistics.
@SharronKardinaal I love the idea of a connectivity strength indicator though if it is recurring issue.
Further on that though I think connectivity should only be "UP" or "DOWN", I dont really care much for it being slow, in my mind from a UX point of view, slow equals down for me.

It does happen every now and again, where a land registry system may be down, perhaps for maintenance, updates or system errors.
PEXA has measures in place, depending on the scenario to ensure settlements can still proceed but in some instances Land Registry outages can still impact settlement.
What I'm thinking of creating is a box that sits on the left side of Community, similar to the Announcement and Clicks & Mortar boxes. The box would show the status of all the land registry systems with a Green/Orange/Red indicator. We can make the box visible on any day that a land registry system is experiencing outages (as 99% of the time their systems are A-Okay). This could also link to a post that has more information on the outage and any expected timeline for it to be fixed.
What do you think @SharronKardinaal, @jgusew?

Yes please. this is where I looked this morning and that's where the idea come to me.
My issues where for standalone dealings that didn't progress to registered. They are now registered but took over 2 hours instead of 10 minutes.
Thanks

Perfect example for an orange status, still online but experiencing delayed registration.

Sorry to be blunt - what good is it to me having it in community when I am in core - again i havent had it happen to me but if i did want to know about it, it wouldn't be on community.
Can it be in both and communicate together so the status is the same no matter which platform?
Maybe can extend to, PEXA plus & projects as well as id love this to be a widget - from an operational level in plus, having a so to transportation widget like a battery light, fuel gauge etc to assist with indicating upcoming service outages and strength of systems.

People are different and have different level of experiences, I would now go to community to find it based on this thread but most of our firm wont ever touch community as they expect the information in front of them.

@TJ i think @PaulMajor is pretty firm on the aspect of "Registration" that we should not worry about whether it is delayed in registering or not. The main thing is whether there is a delay with "Lodgement".

@SharronKardinaal ok i think i am understanding now. What you are talking about is the registration component of the titles office, not PEXA.
Sometimes you will find things get registered automatically or within seconds, in particular this is likely when something does not have any issues when lodged (abn mismatch or similar).
A delay could be many things and it could be LUV can fix it up on there end (possibly the case here) or they might send us out a requisition and thus "not registered" will remain until the issue is fixed.
Delay in lodgement is another story. From what i can tell, we should not have a delay in lodgement as we can possibly forfeit on our place in the queue so to speak (someone gets in with a caveat before us).
An unregistered dealing still remains in the queue and whether it gets fixed by the titles office or you receive a requisition its not going to affect the order in which it goes onto the title.
@PaulMajor would be able to clarify much better as this is all only what i have come to believe from experience and may not be correct...... what so ever....
