Hello Mark
You have done absolutely nothing wrong. The Notice of Aquisition does not automatically distribute to the Councils and Water Authorities therefore Downloading the Notice of Aquisition and forwarding it to the respective Councils and Water Authorities is the right thing to do.

Hello Cheryl
Just as an aside to your reply, we have had Council reject the Notice of Acquisition that PEXA generates and have reverted back to providing the SRO version as not all questions are answered on the PEXA version to the satisfaction of Council!

Hello Vivienne,
Thank you for the additional information, I would certainly be keen to understand what questions the Councils feel are not being answered. We are working closely with the Councils in Victoria so understanding this would be very helpful.
Thank You
Cheryl

Hello @cheryldixon, both Gippsland Water and Baw Baw Shire rejected the Notice of Acquisition because it did not contain Lot on Plan particulars. Since this rejection we now manually provide the Notice outside of the workspace as we would normally do for a paper settlement.
Thanks

I have also had the Mildura Rural City Council reject my Notice of Acquisition due to it not being an "original".

Thank you Lyn and Vivienne for the updated information, I can imagine that additional manual work would be frustrating. We are currently looking into what might be causing this issue to get a satisfactory resolution for you all. We are also currently exploring and testing with some selected Councils and Water Authorities how we may be able to distribute the Notice of Acquisition to them electronically, immediately once settlement is complete. We will certainly be looking to have Lot and Plan details included as part of this distribution to ensure the Notice Of Acquisitions are fully complete. We will provide further detail in the coming weeks on how we can progress this once our testing is complete so we can continue to remove that manual work you will be experiencing.
Kind Regards
Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,
We have noticed that where there are two or more titles in a transfer only one of them appears on the printed version of the notice of acquisition. In these cases we have to revert to a manual notice of acquisition as others have had to do in these comments.
It would be great if your review of the notices of acquisition looking into how all titles can appear on the printed notice.
Thanks
Sarah

Hello Sarah,
Thank you for raising this. We are currently working with some selected Councils and Water Authorities to take it a step further and determine how we could provide them with the Notice of Acquisition directly from PEXA. This would include ensuring the full detail of the Notice of Acquisition is disbursed to them.
Kind regards
Cheryl
