Hello,
I am assisting in a NSW family law property settlement and the incoming mortgagee has asked whether our firm will be providing the Original stamped transfer for the subject application at settlement. Is this document required in a PEXA settlement? If so, where do we upload such documentation?

If, settlement of this matter is taking place in PEXA you don't require an original stamped Transfer. Advise your incoming mortgagee that this is a "PEXA SETTLEMENT"
We assume you hold the "Client Authorisation" signed by your client and the solicitors acting for the other vendor has theirs? There would be a Financial Agreement between the parties or Court Orders.
Hope this helps.

Hi there,
I agree with SCT Hornsby. As there is no physical document it is impossible to hand over an original stamped document.
However, as they are an incoming mortgagee, you should be inviting them to the PEXA workspace. Once you complete the stamp duty EDR assessment and verify the duty in PEXA, this will update the transfer document, they will be able to view these documents within the workspace.
Hope this helps.
