I have just wasted an entire day to discover that PEXA cannot support settlements for clients with no last names in Victoria. My client's given name is x y. There is no last name.
This issue came about as my purchaser client's bank CBA did not want to sign off on a transfer of land with my client's first name as x and last name as y, even though Certificate of Titles do not distinguish between first and last name. So it makes no difference.
This is a ridiculous oversight in the PEXA system as many ethnic clients have no last names.
Please seek to update your system to allow transfers to progress with no last names.

Just confirming that this scenario can be completed via PEXA in WA for any WA subscribers out there (as long as there is no FHOG involved).

Has this issue been resolved. I have 2 transactions for a client with only a first name?

Happy news! This was a Revenue NSW limitation which was resolved last year.

Is it still the case in WA that if FHOG is involved you CANNOT complete no last name settlements on Pexa?

You can actually now complete these online in PEXA. Please refer to the Troubleshooting Guide in this post: https://community.pexa.com.au/t5/Share-your-Experiences/Troubleshooting-guide-for-WA-Transfer-Duty-V..., referring to the bottom of page 2.
Hope that helps.
