We hold a paper CT and Discharge of Mortgage for our clients. They are settling on their sale in just under two weeks.
The Discharge of Mortgage was issued by State Bank of New South Wales in 1999. How am I supposed to get this registered via PEXA, noting that LRS have advised that they will not accept these documents from a Solicitor/Conveyancer for registration?

Hi @JulesM,
LRS have recently published this guide advising how to process old discharges of mortgage:

Let me know if you need any further information.

Hi JulesM
Can you let me know how you are getting on with this. I have the same issue Discharge of Mortgage with ANZ everytime I try to get something done I get told to fill out a Discharge Variation Authority I have tried inviting them via as mortgagee on title through PEXA and telling them I have the paper discharge but once again I got an email saying to complete a discharge authority.

Hi LOUIMAC
We ended up speaking with our city agent, who advised that the paper discharge and CT could in fact be lodged at LRS, which is what we did.
I don't know if that has changed since. We were told every time we called LRS that we couldn't do it, but our agent had no issue in getting it registered.
Hope it works out for you!
