Is there any update on SRO accepting land tax payments through PEXA?

In VIC the OSR have commenced issuing BPay references on Land Tax statements. This means that Land Tax in VIC may be remitted via the PEXA BPay capability.
You can do this today. However you wil be required to manually enter the BPay biller ID as well as the Payment Ref.
Shortly, PEXA will create a dedicated Line Item category for payment of VIC Land Tax. PEXA will then pre-populate the VIC SRO biller ID and provide validation on the Payment Ref that accords with the rules BPay assign to VIC SRO.
Please let me @GeorgePolus know if you have questions.

Thanks, George. I haven't seen a Land Tax Certificate with BPay details on it. Do you mean the land tax assessments that are sent to the owner by SRO?

We’ve had a few recently with BPAY details, appears only recent searches will show the BPAY details.

I'll reply in lieu of George, who is lucky enough to be on leave presently.
BPay details are now noted in the 'Payment Options' section of Land Tax Clearance Certificates. This change was made in late March, so should be reflected in your newer certificates. To pay via PEXA, you will need to create a 'third party beneficiary' line item, enter the details, and save. In future, there will be a specific category for Land Tax (we'll keep you posted about this).
