Hi,
If a payment was paid to PEXA's Source account with the correct reference number, correct account name(Property Exchange Australia), correct BSB but incorrect Account Number, what's the best solution to rectify this? Do we have to reverse the payment and transfer again or PEXA can move the fund across given the reference number is correct.
Apparently the same bank account which made the payment, had made another payment to PEXA last year for another client's settlement matter. It's believed that source account details (account number) were wrongly used in this time.

I would contact our support team to confirm, however, if you've transferred funds using the wrong account number, I don't believe PEXA would have any way to move those funds, as they won't be in one of our accounts.

I have the same issue
The payment was successfully paid to PEXA with correct BSB and Reference, but incorrect account.
Can you please advise what should I do to claim back this Trust Money

In this situation please contact your bank as PEXA is not able to rectify this situation please contact your bank ASAP and advise them. If the account number is not correctly entered we are unable to retrieve those funds.

If the correct BSB has been used to deposit funds into the PEXA Source Account, these will be received by PEXA.
For PEXA to successfully move these funds to the correct Workspace/Settlement we will require deposit evidence, including a receipt as well as a completed Statutory Declaration to move these funds.
I would recommend contacting our support team directly to have this process completed.
