Qld Law Society requires both the PEXA workspace ID and the client name/matter number to appear in the bank statement for PEXA transactions.
How does one include both when the description that automatically populates the PEXA numbers leaves only 1 character for anything else? Is there some other area that has the client/matter name that will flow through to the bank statement to verify transactions?
We utilise our Practice Management Software via the PEXA Application Programming Interface (API) to generate the appropriate references (prefixed with Pexa Settlement) on deposits (utilises File reference) and deductions (shows Workspace ID) to our Trust Account.
In short, you may have to liaise with your Practice Management Software provider to ensure it's set up suitably for your purposes.
