We are Australian Legal Practitioners acting for a private lender as a new incoming mortgagee and want to do a refinance transaction in Pexa (discharge existing mortgage and register a new mortgage). However, we are not sure if we have to be Panel Lawyers to be able to proceed with the transaction in Pexa.
Also, the mortgage is within NSW jurisdiction and we are based in Victoria. Are we still able to lodge documents with the LR via Pexa as we don't have a NSW land registry customer code? Could anybody advise on these matters? Thank you.
