Hi PEXA community,
I wish to release a Queensland mortgage where there is a caveat in place from a third party. How does the process work in PEXA?

Do you want your mortgage released while the third party's caveat remains? Or is the caveat also to be withdrawn?

Hi @CarlGreen
You should be able to create a Workspace as mortgagee on title, create, sign and lodge your release, without the involvement of the caveator.

Agree with @Ames above and just be aware of the normal Land Registry guidelines around Releases of Mortgage for titles that have a Caveat registered. If you would be ok to lodge the Release in a paper scenario, then it will be fine to register it in PEXA also.
