Removal of expired DHA Lease during a Refinance Transaction
I have a refinance we are processing that has 2 expired DHA leases still shown on the title. The most recent lease expired in 2016 (the previous one was 2010) with a 3 year option ( which would also have expired if it was taken). Customers have confirmed that there is now a private lease in place that is not registered on the title.
Just wondering about processes and procedures, should we do something to trigger the removal of the lease on the title or is this something that we do not need to action as it will drop off automatically? Or do we leave it on there as there is no impact from the lease still be registered on title?
Would appreciate hearing your thoughts and processes on similar situations
