I have a client who has 2 lots on the one title and is wanting to sell one of the lots. We have been told by the titles office that he can do this but we need to separate the title into 2 new titles. Has anyone done this and can help me?
I would very greatly appreciate any help.

I did this recently. If you hold the clear title, create a workspace in the role of Proprietor on Title. You will need to create a residual document "ACTION - APPLICATION - NEW FOLIOS FOR SEPARATELY DISPOSABLE PARCELS - Transfer of Land Act - section 32."

Thank you Miriam, this is most helpful. We don't hold clear title so, I assume that we will have to invite the bank as mortgagee on title??
