Settlements which involved Westpac failed today. Conveyors have been communicating this to their clients. Can you please explain what the problem was, as this has caused a lot of people a lot of annoyance. Was this due to the PEXA new version released today?

We have been experiencing some payment issues today, which have been communicated to our members.

Thanks Heather. It would be good to understand if settlements that were in progress today, but failed, will need to be re-booked for settlement, or will settle automatically once PEXA is operational again.

If your settlement wasn't completed & disbursed yesterday, it will need to be rescheduled for today (or another time that suits).
