A Surrender of Lease is a Residual document and a Lease is a mainstream document on PEXA. Both those documents cannot be lodged together in the same workspace. However if they need to be lodged together, both the documents are available under 'Paper dealing' and can be done in the same workspace.
The Paper Dealing Residual Lodgement process enables paper documents to be sent through to NSW LRS via a PEXA Workspace as a document in PDF format. The NSW LRS will then treat the PDF version of the document as if it were being lodged in paper over the counter.
PEXA Subscribers are able to lodge paper Real Property Act dealings with a Land Title Reference through the ‘Paper Dealing’ document via the PEXA Platform.
Paper documents which do not have a Real Property Act Land Title Reference, or where the Land Title is not valid for electronic lodgement in the PEXA Platform, are able to be lodged through the PEXA Platform using a prescribed Title Reference.
