Survivorship Application Vic

Hi

I hold financial power of attorney for my mother-in-law.  On her behalf I need to have her deceased husband's name removed from the title of her property, preparatory to its sale.  She does not reside in the property and is in permanent care.  I am in Victoria.

Is this something I can undertake, or will a conveyancer undertake this for us?

regards Paul

Re: Survivorship Application Vic

Hi Paul

I would suggest engaging a lawyer/conveyancer to undertake this process on your behalf as it'll be more efficient and less likely to result in errors.

Regards

Nick
