I have prepared a Survivorship Application and have invited the mortgagee on title to complete the nomination. I note that the Title is already an electronic title. Do I still need the mortgagee to complete the nomination?
Hi @Weston3130 a nomination is required for an eCT unless the CT Controller (the mortgagee) is signing another instrument in the Workspace.
So if the mortgagee is keeping the same mortgage, you need a nomination, If they were discharging and lodging a new mortgage, those instruments would be in the same Workspace as the survivorship, and you would not require a nomination.
