We recently acted on the conversion of an apartment block from company to strata title. We are now in the process of transferring the newly created lots to individual owners.
The Transfer has been stamped pursuant to s64 of the Duties Act with nominal duty of $50 paid.
When I create the Transfer in PEXA, the options for a Transfer with NIL consideration are as follows:
- as regards a deed of assignment
- as regards a deed of partition
- as regards a court order
- as regards an inter-generational assignment
- a change in manner of holding
The last of these seems the most applicable to me, though when I enter the Stamp Duty information it will not verify, and I am still being prompted in the 'tasks' tab to complete the Transfer
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
