Transfer from Husband to Husband & Wife as joint tenants in NSW

Dear Team,

I have a (usually) simple Transfer from a husband to husband & wife as joint tenants of the matrimonial home (and therefore no consideration).  There is a discharge involved of a loan(s) which have been paid out.  Usual exemption of duty under Section 104B of the Duties Act.

I have recently had a bit of play with and look around in PEXA.  Am I correct that this type of Transfer cannot be conducted in PEXA under the one workspace.  Can I set it up using two workspaces (with the understanding that two PEXA fees will be payable) or does the whole transaction have to be done manually?

I look forward to receiving some advice here.

Regards

Leah

Re: Transfer from Husband to Husband & Wife as joint tenants in NSW

Hi @k1mum

As the Transfer is non-monetary this is currently out of scope in NSW and must be completed through the paper channel.

To seek further clarification please contact NSW LRS on eConveyancingNSW@nswlrs.com.au or Team NSW on TeamNSW@pexa.com.au.

Kind regards
