Transfers pursuant to a Family Court Order in WA

Hi

Just wondering if Transfers pursuant to a Court Order are now able to be done on PEXA in WA? Nearly all of the Transfers we do are pursuant to a Court Order in the sense one party needs to transfer their share of the property to the other party and in nearly all the cases there is no issue with either party signing the Transfer.

The banks always send a PEXA invite for the refinance and we normally decline saying it needs to be a paper based transaction.

Just wondering if this has changed now?

Re: Transfers pursuant to a Family Court Order in WA

Hi @CSC

As per Nancy's post, and the link to the Landgate eligibility list, court order transactions are not yet currently in scope. PEXA is working with Landgate and OSR in WA to broaden the scope of documents that can be processed online.

We will of course keep the market informed around when further scope is to be made available.

Thanks

Angella
