Hi All,
Currently wondering if there is a way in PEXA to mark two participants as one and the same?
We have a file where there is one mortgage over 2 titles and the name is incorrect on one of the titles.
When loading the change of name for the incorrect title in the participants tab the participants are still split out as individuals (one to each corresponding title).
When I go to create the mortgage in PEXA over both titles I cannot select any mortgagors and it fails.
As it gets a bit confusing I have summarised it below;
Mortgagor: John SMITH formerly known as John Bradley SMITH
Title 1: John SMITH
Title 2: John Bradley SMITH
Mortgage is over both properties
The previous solution in an old post stated that this would be fixed in PEXA 7.1 but I have come across another scenario where this occurs and currently I can just select the correct participant listed with the change of name but then I cannot save the mortgage as it requests that I select a mortgagor type but the options are greyed out and not able to be clicked.
Hoping to be able to put this through PEXA and not have to revert to a paper settlement so any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

SolutionHi Jack.
I have been able to successfully save a mortgage that matches your scenario.
To achieve this, I took the following steps:
Create your Mortgage. Select both Titles and John Smith will automatically be populated as Mortgagor.
Note: I completed the above steps in WA, but this solution is the same across every jurisdiction.
Please let me know how you go with this.
