VOI for Client in New Zealand

Hi Colleagues,

Has anyone had to get a VOI and CAF done by a client located in New Zealand (in relation to a Queensland property)?

I know one option is to track down an Australian Consular Office Witness but are there any other recognised options in terms of Identity Agents?

It appears they would have to meet the various insurance requirements in Schedule 6 of the Queensland Participation Rules. The 'deemed compliance with insurance rules' only seems to apply to Australian Legal Practitioners or Law Practices etc (which makes it fairly hard work to gather the relevant insurance information from any proposed Identity Agent in NZ).

Is there an equivalent of 'Australia Post' (or similar) in New Zealand (i.e. a recognised 'Identity Agent')? Has anyone used someone (perhaps a law firm) in NZ before?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,

Josh Fox
