Keeping up with e-Conveyancing - Victoria's Industry Update session
From Ballarat, Bendigo, Shepparton to Geelong, the first round of Industry Update sessions were a huge success.
Led by Land Victoria, VIC SRO, Stewart Title and PEXA, these events highlighted the industry's vision for a digital pathway.
The next round of Industry Update sessions are in October 2016.
What do you want to hear at these sessions? Let us know!

These events have really brought home to me the extent to which the whole industry - lawyers, conveyancers, banks, land registries and revenue offices - is involved in, and dedicated to, the digital transformation.
It's great to have PEXA, Land Victoria, the State Revenue Office and Stewart Title in the same room at the same time, sharing with practitioners what we are all working on to make their property transactions easier, and more beneficial for their clients.
Popular questions at the events we have held to date have focused on what further changes are in the pipeline from PEXA, Land Victoria and the SRO, and how we can help prepare attendees for those, and we are happy to share our thoughts on this topic.
We look forward to meeting more practitioners in regional Victoria as these events are rolled out across the state.

Another Industry Update session was held last week, this time it was in Traralgon, Victoria.
This gave the local practitioners and conveyancers in the Gippsland area to network and engage with their peers, sharing their PEXA experience and journey so far.
The event was a great success and allowed PEXA to also provide assistance to firms and companies who were keen to complete the registration process and become PEXA subscribers.
Thank you to everyone who attended and please feel free to share your feedback and what else you would like to see incorporated into these sessions to add more value.

It has been a really positive experience to catch-up with regional practitioners so far across the State. The full benefits off transferring property in an e-conveyancing environment is clearly evident for regional areas. Removing those previous geographic barriers caused by distance.
