Hello,
I'm a client, and will be taking out a loan to purchase my first home. My conveyancer asked me to complete a CLIENT AUTHORISATION form (Version 6.0). Under "CONVEYANCING TRANSACTION(S)" the box next to "TRANSFER" has been checked; whereas the boxes next to "MORTGAGE" and "DISCHARGE/RELEASE OF MORTGAGE" have not been checked. Should I be checking these boxes to allow my conveyancer to communicate with my lender and make the necessary transfer of finances? Or are these authorisations only required for specific circumstances where additional authorisation is required?
Apologies if there is already an answer online to my question (I have been searching for the past half an hour) --- if so, I would appreciate it if you could share the link with me. Thank you in advance!
Cheers,
Jess

Thank you for your question.
Unfortunately, we cannot advise on how to complete the Client Authorisation Form.
ARNECC has published a Guidance Note which can be found here - https://www.arnecc.gov.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/mpr-guidance-note-1-client-authorisation.pdf . Alternatively, please speak to your Conveyancer or Legal Representative.
