Which states can I transact in?

As our network keeps growing and growing more and more subscribers want to transact in multiple jurisdictions. To date, PEXA transactions can be completed in the following jurisdictions:

-New South Wales

-Queensland

-Victoria

-South Australia

-Western Australia

Are there any plans for the other jurisdictions?

Solution

Re: Which states can I transact in?

PEXA is designed to be a National platform.  But it is not just PEXA that needs to be enabled for electronic conveyancing. jurisdictional Land Registries and Revenue offices need to enable themselves for electronic conveyancing also.  The work completed to date by VIC, NSW, QLD, WA and SA is enormous and the LTO's and SRO's deserve great praise for their perseverance and commitment.

That said, three jurisdictions for deployment remain - TAS, NT and ACT.

Deployment to TAS is scheduled for late 2017.  PEXA has been working with the TAS LTO and SRO to frame the deployment road map.  Detailed planning and design workshops will kick off later this calendar year with targeted deployment of TAS being late 2017.

ARNECC (the regulatory body for e-conveyancing) is working with representatives from NT and ACT along with PEXA to frame the targeted time lines for NT and ACT.   More information regarding time lines will be made available soon,

ARNECC, PEXA and jurisdictional land registries are all equally committed to a national e-conveyancing platform and will continue to work diligently to achieve this objective.
